MacBook pro 16'' charger is 96w. Does this hub support it or is it only for smaller chargers?
YES.
Support 96w charger.
Since the hub itself will drain a little bit power, it will deliver actual 86 Wattage when you charge with your 96w apple charger.
And, uni USB C Hub support Power Delivery 2.0 pass-through, up to 100W, backward compatibility with 96W, 87W, 61W, 45W, 30W, 18W, etc. So the answer is this hub support 96w charger and all the lower wattage chargers.
*Also, we suggest you using the original adapter for your USB-C Laptops/ Smartphones/ Tablets. The actual charging voltage may vary depends on different chargers, cables, and devices.
Does Hub use Power?

Will this be compatible with 2017 MacBook Pro?
YES.

Does it work with flash drives on MacBooks?
YES.
Through uni's USB C 8 in 1 Hub, you can connect USB-A devices (USB stick, keyboard, mouse, printer, CD player, gamepad, SSD, etc.) to your Type C interface laptop / tablet / mobile phone anytime and anywhere.
*IMPORTANT: For a stable connection, avoid connecting devices (SSD) to the USB-A port that exceed 900mA.
Does the ethernet interface require a driver in MacOS?
NO.
There is no additional driver required though on macOS. We have tested it can also plug and play on macOS Mojave.
Furthermore, it works with CAT6 & up ethernet cable needed for reach 1Gbps network.
Is this adapter compatible with the Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (2020)?
YES.
We pretty sure it works fine with iPad Pro 2018 11”, and iPad Pro 2020 11''. (Both run iPadOS)

Received some gifts from uni as part of a giveaway and I have to say so far I__ just as impressed with this 3 port hub as I have been with their other cables I bought last year. Fit and finish is top notch using the same materials and design as the rest of their USB-C gear (sturdy aluminum in space gray with reinforced braided cables). Feels more durable and looks way better than the official Apple design, and if it performs as reliably as their larger hub has for me, it will be CONSIDERABLY more reliable than the official OEM version. This also support the full charge rate of 5A for the 15/16_ MacBook Pros, unlike the OEM version. It can even support USB-C data pass-through, though I have not tested this myself yet. Add in the price, and you have a winner of a product.
This is the second Uni accessory I bought. Their accessory looks really nice.
I don’t have a 4K TV, and I won’t use it for charging. The only thing I need is that I can watch movies on a larger screen. It can do it. I use it on my Macbook Pro with no problems.
Got this 3 in 1 hub so I could keep my iPad powered while connected to an external TV by HDMI. Very basic no-frills adapter which does just what it's supposed to do! Design is classic UNI -- nice, clean, matte gray finish which feels solid and choice of materials hasn't changed -- still excellent.
